And even though Malta is a mere 316 kilometers square, we often find new places here just by scrolling on social media. 1. Lara Goes Exploring
Lara Farrugia has one of the best content from Malta! She is Maltese and uses her account, @lara.goes.exploring, to showcase all the best corners of the island in the most fairy-tale-like way, not to mention she always tag the location of her posts in the captions. 2. Buy That Plane Ticket
Shana and Jerome are the Maltese couple behind @buythatplaneticket. Although they’re usually traveling and sharing awesome pictures from all over the world, they have an amazing collection of pictures from Malta. Their stories are a treat, always showing the best beaches to go to after a day of work on the island. It was from their account that we discovered the Fisherman’s Cave in Birzebbuga!
3. Malta Gozo
Michele Agius curates all the best content from Malta on his @malta.gozo account on Instagram and it is definitely one of the best accounts to follow for inspiration from Malta and its smaller island sister, Gozo. His personal profile, @micagius, is also full of awesome pictures – Michele is a freelance photographer and his underwater photography is on point!
4. Taryn Mamocefai
Taryn Mamocefai is a Maltese actress and radio host, but also a travel blogger! Just like Shana and Jerome, Taryn is usually traveling and showing us the most amazing destinations on her IG account, @tarynmamocefai, but her content from Malta is so good that it deserved a special spot on this list! Rafael and Luiza are a Brazilian couple based in Malta, just like us! They work in iGaming, travel about 10 times a year, and share everything about their lives here on their IG (@tripnlove) and Youtube accounts.
